Our mission is to empower women and children in domestic violence situations, by providing them with the tools they need for a better life.
About Us
The Renewed Woman is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is a passionate advocate for the prevention and elimination of domestic violence. We strive to empower women and families through education, support services, document preparation, job coaching, and safe circles for victims of relationship abuse.
Speak up and Speak out
Our speak up and speak out advocates are in the community, in schools, at community groups, advocating for domestic violence victims. We provide police and school training on how to document occurrences, and how to handle domestic violence situations properly. Contact us if you are in need of speakers, who can come and talk about domestic violence.
Sister-to-Sister
We understand what it takes to start all over. We provide the assistance you need to establish your independence. Whether you need GED preparation or job placement. services, we are here for you. We can also help you dress for success, and our coaches will help you get your finances in order.
Support Group
You don’t have to face domestic violence situations alone.
We understand the challenges you face because we have been there.
We believe in intervening and encouraging with purpose. We meet as a group once or twice per month.
Map Out a Way of Escape
We help women find a way of escape, so that they don’t have to stay in a dangerous situation.
Document Assistance
Assistance with securing and completing important documents. We can help with:

- New drivers license and State ID
- Anonymous voting
